I would like to first thank everyone here for posting their experiences with various leaked upgrades. I have followed the leak trail and currently run 103. Each time I share my positive experiences with other Storm users regarding my upgrades, they remind me that I have voided my phone warranty by upgrading. If I need to utilize warranty service on my 9530, can't I just downgrade to .75 and proceed with warranty service?

I was wondering the same thing....can they see if I've changed the software?

HAHAHA, I think it's pretty clear now. Well, I'd like to think so anyway. We'll see how long it takes for someone else to ask!

And for another observance. The camera works GREAT in this release. I even took a picture of something while I was moving the phone and it wasn't all that blurry.

Not all that blurry as in "you can make out what it is", or not all that blurry as in, "a little less ghost-like?"

My 5 yr old keeps asking me why the camera on my phone doesn't work....

This IS NOT a Hybrid. Install the full file. Its a leak for the 9530.

I think I'm gonna have to edit the first post to include this. People are just not getting it.

Downloaded a bad file. Wait till I upload it to the host, you'll have a good install.

installed successfully in usual 35min. never done a wipe before. .75>.85>.99>.103>.109
looks like overall faster. reboot is faster for me. usually takes for-ev-ver. will report other findings when found. thanks for the leak again

Use loader.exe in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\Apploader

or disconnect your internet I believe and also make sure .109 is the only OS installed on your computer.

I'm sorry but I don't know the answer to that one. FWIW though I'd much rather have a build on my phone that's meant to be together the way it is, than one I pieced together. Know what I mean.

I've never disconnected my internet and I have both official and every leaked version of the OS on my comp., and I've always been able to update with no problems. I wonder why results vary?

Guys,

I am new to CB here. Just updated .78 to .109 on my 9500.

I am still waiting for BES to sync all my modules together once thats done i will have a play around with it.

So far i have been spinning it around like a Basketball to see the accelerameter, so far so good!!! Better then .78 by far.

I will more functions out by tongiht and let ya'll know.
