same problem with me, I followed the advices given in the guide for the nuked blackberries (it's somewhere in the forum,just search) and now my storm is back with the .87 OS. I'm wondering if anyone who experienced our problem managed to install the .90,maybe after a wipe?Sorry for my bad english!

This seems to be a common issue with the .90 release...first thing to do is not panick, its not bricked!

Uninstall the .90 OS from your PC / Laptop by using Add / Remove programs from your control panel. Download and install an earlier OS (.87 for example) Use Apploader to install the .87 and all should be good.

Until we find out the root cause of this issue I wouldnt try and do the .90 again!

When you get to the Megaupload page, there should be:
Please enter [followed by 3 letters] here: ________ Download

Put in the 3 letters in the blank, and click Download.
Then wait for the countdown, and click on the link when it appears.

Read the page I've indicated it's to reinstall a previous OS (0.87 for example is working fine for me) because in fact currently your Storm is a brick without any OS...

When it's in the power cycling, take out the media card. That's how I stopped it. Rather annoying. the 90 is a good OS, but it has too many problems. contradictive enough? Lol. I'm back on 87. I've done an upgrade and a clean wipe, same issues listening to music

Thanks thats me back to .78, might wipe and install .90 see what happens now i know i can get it back to basic.

Upgraded straight from .87 to .90 without the wipe.

All ok so far. Phone seems little quicker than .87

Keyboard does look bigger and the full keyboard in portrait mode is going to be useful.

Will keep testing and post if I find anything else interesting.

Wipe using crackmem didnot work, the loader did not recognise that i had .90 on my PC. and it is there?

im upgrading from .88 to .90. phone is rebooting (its my impression or boot is taking even longer on .90?). will report findings soon.
