Just completed the upgrade - everything seems great so far - much faster between menus etc - Rocky i can recommend upgrading if you haven't already there is lots of advice on the os home page if your unsure about anything.
Right, I just installed .88 last night and I'm absolutely loving it due to speed etc. The battery issue is non-existant for me because I take my laptop most places and so charge via USB.
My question is, has anyone gone from .88 to .90 and had any better experiences (minus battery) that make it worth upgrading?
Well, have fully restored my Storm to .85. Will give .90 one more try, and if it nukes again, will be staying with .85 until the next OS leak.
*Edit:
Nope, same thing happened to me again. Gets stuck at "Unable to Create", and the restart cycle.
Guess I'll be staying with .85, it's been the most stable OS for me so far, aside from the Media Card error.
I have the same problem - cant seem to get this one to install at all...isnt that just typical!! A really good release comes out and I cant install it LOL!
After work I will uninstall desktop manager and reinstall to see if that solves the issue.
I just did a backup via DM and my wallpaper went back to red Vodafone screen. My wallpaper folder has now been deleted off the handset (device memory). Is it stuck in mass storage mode? How do you change it back? What do you think has caused this?
Like previous installs I went the install over existing version route. This time it nuked my USB connection right after the OS install and before the restore of data/ email activation process.
Ok so it might not be to the install of .90 but i haven't had this issue before and wondering if anyone else has seen this?
DM has become unstable so i am now reinstalling DM, wiping my device and will try a fresh install (actually been meaning to do a fresh install for a while)
Just upgraded to .90 from .87. Seems fine.
Issues : The QWERTY keyboard in portrait doesnt seem to work all the time and the camera behaves randomly while saving images.
I upgraded over my old OS. Will try wiping and reinstalling later.
