NOW THAT'S AN ADDICT !
I lost my Calender data also, I had to do another restore and then I lost my browser and had to do the fix for that. I always do a *228 1 and 2 after an OS update and I always do at least 2 or 3 battery pulls before I start to really test it out.
Find the Shrink-A-OS or whatever its called and do what it says. Delete everything you don't use. Seems to help keep mine up. A lot has to do with the apps you run though.
As did I until I put .132 on...the signal strength alone is so much better for me. I'm at 4 to 5 bars all the time instead of 2 or 3.
one thing i have noticed is that the "today" feature on my themes dont work.. when you hover on it,,, nothing comes up..anyone else?
Only seen this come up a couple of times, but MMS is fixed?? I am running .114 and actually pretty happy with it, apart from the MMS issue.
I only really use shazam, poynt, aim, facebook. But usually not all at the same time. I don't have any weather software. Oh and i have StormSlider running..
Let me see if i can play a bit with shrinkmyOS
Been running .132 for about 7 hours now and this thing is awesome. Faster scrolling in browser. Keyboard still lags a lil in browser but that's the only thing negative so far.

Oh yea memory, booted up with 55mb 7 hours later still strong at 51.2mb
Oh the MMS volume issue?
Newbie Question?
Do Verizon Users have to delete the vendor file or not?
Delete anything you don't use, languages, apps etc. Or use shrink an Os from lyrical which will do it for you. Do a search and you'll find some things you can do.

No, VZW users don't.
See post #432
So I tried to go to bed early last night and I couldn't fall asleep. I just kept on tossing and turning. Tried to read for a little bit. Then I watched the news. I even got up and had a bowl of cereal and I still coulnd't fall asleep. Turns out my body was trying to tell me that there was a new OS.
For some awful reason I didn't check Crackberry. I didn't think they posted that often after 11:30 p.m. and I just updated to .122 so I would have never guessed there was a new OS out.
Now I am sitting here at work. I downloaded the OS onto a flash drive from my work computer. Gonna take it home during lunch so I can update. This is driving me crazy. Clock won't tick fast enough. I'll post findings in a couple of hours.
Thanks Mustang02
so far it is...
I just finished installing .132 and so far so good. This is a big jump for me as I never used a leaked OS. I came up from .75. So I will post back here later once I have a chance through the day to play.
you don't have a drop down menu arrow?
just came from .75 myself. so far so good.. only problems i am having is the *228/2 browser problem and today themes not working...
Is there a summary of the findings? I do not plan on reading 32 pages worth of posts, of which 90% have nothing to do with the OS.
Following those directions, when you press the blue button beside Calendar (CiCAL) it currently says Facebook, There are no options in the dropdown when you press that??
If not I guess you're out of luck because if you've backed up before download and then restored afterwards, you do not have another calendar associated with your device.
Yes, you have to delete the vendor file because this is not an official verizon release!!!
Thanks Kevin
Yeah...that's wrong. You only need to delete it if you're going from Bell to Verizon or another carrier.
