The BB button has worked like this for at least many OS versions if not all. Change your tap setting. Longer hold is app switcher, short tap menu button.
I notice sometimes when in apps when I hit the bb menu button to bring up the menu, it brings up the app switcher like I held the button down..
Very odd.. Only happening since I upgraded to .132... Not a deal breaker for me though as .132 has been running so well!

same thing happens to me i hardly touch the BB button and the app switcher pops up.

change tap settings?! is this in options > screen/keyboard? i thought that tap setting was for the touch screen.

ya can somene please see if the color banding issue is still there...if it is how hard is it to fix it its been messed up since .99 come on now RIM it cant be that hard to fix

Ok so I have been downloading leaked OS's for quite some time but this one is giving me trouble. I downloaded it fine and opened the file but it does not show up on my Desktop Manager. I only see versions .75 and .65. Can anyone help me out?

Did you install it after you downloaded it? It must be installed just like a regular program.

I uploaded 4.7.0.132 and it seems to work much better. The camera reacts faster, but I can't use the 2x feature. It's locked on 200+ and 1x. Any clues as to how to fix this?

just noticed the same, but honestly the 1x i sall you want anyways and if you need to zoom in digitally you're much better off doing that later with a dedicated program. on the other hand it's a feature that should work

Plain and simple. Just take your phone (with upgraded OS) and hold it next to a .75 Storm. The .75 looks like it's in hight def, while the new OS Beta is a little "blander". You have to hold it next to a .75 to truly notice anything.
2 issues for me since moving from .75 to .132
I am a moderate user, only non stock app is quick pull, stock theme, GPS set to E911, service set to 1XEV not global, backlight 10 seconds.
Battery is running down twice as fast as before
My 4 keys are not responding as quickly as in .75 when pushed, before i just pushed them and they worked now I have to hold them down
after several days, the only issue I've noticed is sometimes the screen just won't flip like it supposed to. turn it to the way it has the screen and then back again for it to flip from vertical to horizontal or vis versa.
I've had the .132 os. On my storm for 24hrs now and it seems to be a huge improvement over the .122. The boot time is a lot quicker, I clocked it at 2.20sec and the screen distortion when pulling it out of the holster is fixed.
I had about 51mb of free memory on startup with 5 3rd party apps installed, so far I've had no random reboots or freezing however my one grip is that the browser is still slow as ****! Memory leak seems to be stabilized at 47mb after running
For 6hrs but will have to run software for a week to verify that.

If I plug my headphones into my phone while it is in the holster it restarts. Now mind you this only happened twice and I had received a bbm right before.
