Well my battery loss is just as bad if not worse than the 122?? Another friend at work who is on Verizon with the original software and hardly any applications battery lasts him 2 days before he needs to recharge!? I just put 132 on at 11:00am this morning and Fully recharged did battery pull after installation. This is what I am running as 3rd applications: Waether network,Poynt, Google Maps, Buzz ME, Youtube, Canadian Press, RIM APP World, Crackberry, Facebook, MaplLeafs, TSN, Sportsnet, The hockey News, and the Crackberry storeAP. My battery is at 65% with a loss of 9.3% / hour and memory at 39.7MB -5.9 since 1:00pm? I wonder if my battery itself is just pooched??

I was getting 12-14% per hour on 122 and only 5% on 113. So far, 132 is looking good on the battery side with 95% after 1.5 hours.

I notice that some people say that if you're on a leaked OS to downgrade back to .75 first and then up to .132, but I do not really feel like doing the extra 25 minutes if it isn't really worth it. I'm currently on .113, and just wondering if anyone upgrading directly from another leaked OS is experiencing any issues or if it upgraded just fine??

All I did was uninstall .122 from my computer and installed .132 with DM. Everything works fine.

Yeah the clock screen will still rotate but it will not exit that screen no matter what I try. I have to do a battery pull to get everything working again. Its not a big deal i just don't lock it before I put it on the charger, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one.

Is it necessary to create a special back up file for just sms/mms/e-mail to run after the OS upgrade?

Or what is the best practice to keep everything after upgrading?

I always do a clean install. 122 really was a drain. I even got a new battery and got the same results. So, I am confident that the drain was real on my Storm and that 132 is doing even better than 113.

When i went from .109 to .113 i downgraded to .75. From .113 to .132 I just went straight to it. I have had no issues so far. Although I've never been able to crack 35mb of memory on any OS.

When I push handset it says nothing. I've tried everything. Went back to .75 and then straight to .132. Tried downloading .132 and restarting my computer and then loading it on my phone. And battery pulls are not working. Wondering if anyone else is having this problem?

I happy with my memory after install and batt pull I have 52 mb with Wolrdmate Life, Buzzme, Screen lock, Doc to Go Premium, LouisV theme, Table Tennis, Hunting, Quick Pull and Memory Boost.

After 2 hours of playing with new OS, it drop down to 36 mb. Put it in my pocket and 15 minute later I check again, it back to 42 mb.

Did you use a wired headset recently? If so insert the wired headset plug in, then slowly pull it out it might fix it. I had that problem once before.

No you do NOT need to do that. Just load the new OS

I upgraded to 132 today and love it so far. Everything seems so much smoother. I have had trouble ever since leaving 114 with v-2 and was hating all these leaked os but I feel much better now and will stay with this until the next one hahaha. The 132 is running smooth for me, I have way better battery life, memory at 53 and staying, apps run smoothly, camera faster, smooth quick switching from app to app, good reception, and the browser is much much better- All of this is great on my storm. But others were running good off 122, my storm just hated it, but loves 132

Downloaded and installed .132 on wife's 9530. Running .113 on mine for comparison. So far camera seems better on .132

ok, ive been running the os since 11pm last night:

+ multi-tasking is amazing. 20 apps running, mem steady at 52, no lag.
+ camera is better, not perfect, but better

- accelerometer is a bit slower than .113, .113 would rotate before i would even think to do so.
- signal meter does flucuate often, nothing major.

Overall, a very solid leak.

I downloaded .132 last night, and downloaded it the same way I have for all of the previous OS's I have tried, but for some reason when I go thru the App loader in the Desktop manager, it doesnt recognize that there is a new OS to download to my phone. I am working with the recent .122/131 hybrid, where i just changed the java and cdma folders etc. Ive tried to find someone else who posted the same issue, but no luck. Can someone give me any advise? Thanks in advance

Did you delete the vendor.xml file? That can prevent the update.

Hey cadsystems thanks. Had to do it a couple of times but it worked. What's really weird is that i've never used the headset before. Only ever used speaker phone. Oh well, it's fine now

I've also had that same issue with people talking about memory up at 52 and stuff and I've never seen anything above 35 either. The only app I use out of the standard instant messaging apps is Weatherbug which I've heard can be the cause, and I also have a lot of icon shortcuts in my app menu such as ESPN, CNN, B of A, and stuff like that. Would these possibly be the reason, or is it just possibly that i have a phone with poor memory?

I had this problem a lot so what i started was getting rid of all the os except the one I want. After I delete all of them I then run and install the new os. Restart my computer and go to app loader, delete vendor, then use the loader file- Since I have been doing it this way I haven't had any trouble at all.
