I am fairly new to the whole updating to leaked os's but I have been loving it ever since. I figured since I updated to this latest I would pitch in. All of my info is coming off of Bell's .122
The Accelerometer does feel alot faster.
Typing is faster, no lag.
Radio signal does seem a little better.
Browser does seem faster.
Reboot did take less than 2 mins.
App memory didn't seem to have any change.
I really have no cons about this but I haven't tried out the MMS yet. Don't have any friends that are still up at this time of the day.
Camera is super fast
No typing lag
Ring tone cut off delay is gone
Fixed mms issues
Better sound quality with Media player & Slacker.
Browser pictures seems more crisp (MHO)
Accelerometer Is more snappy.
Google Maps loads hella fast
Memory is at 44.6mb after 2hrs
Phone reboots in less than 2 mins

Seems like were noticing the same thing...
Let me add App Memory has been constant for 3 hours now
Multi Tasking is MUCH Improved (I can now be in BB browser Loading Crackberry.com and then go to Media Player and View Pictures with little to no lag)
Also, The phone locks before I have a chance to take my finger off the button
Blue Highlight keeps up with my typing

so im coming from bbcrackmans v3.. i honestly was not that happy with 3.5 because i had v3 before that and it ran amazingly well, no leaks, no type lag, and batt life was awesome. for some reason v3.5 just did not perform as well on my phone(i know.... different responses for different phones). thats why i jumped on it as soon as kevin leaked .132.
Finding: 1.Acceleromator is faster and much more responsive(even when its almost laid flat it will switch from portrait to landscape)
2.The browser seems to be a little bit faster(but we all know how that goes)
3.Memory is definitely better more of it and less leak(i had a fairly bad leak with v3.5)
4.keyboard lag is almost non-existent(had a problem on v3.5)
5.Signal strength is better as well
6.Batt life is good (although i wont know for sure until ive run the phone a couple of days
7.Appworld is faster
8.All in all phone just seems more responsive
1.flippin through pictures is horrible i got the hourglass several times while going through my pictures
2.Dont know if this is normal but got a long hourglass when trying to send MMS
3.Dropped to 1Xev a couple of times(never happened before)
Neutral
cant tell much difference in camera speed
the lock function speed is also negligible
MMS works fine
well..... hope this helps out you folks who are on the fence about upgrading
I had upgraded for the first time to .122 from .75 4 days ago. I actually loved it. But I'm addicted already...
Here's what I've seen so far:
Minimal memory increase (Went from 51.1 to 51.9) Camera seems fast (Minimal increase from .122?) Browser is just as fast. I can't judge this too well. My dorm room has TERRIBLE reception.
I can't judge reception, because when I upgraded to .122, I forgot to switch my network from Global to 1XEV... Sorry. It seems good though.
Haven't had it long enough to report on memory lags or battery issues. Picture Media sections seems infinitely better than the last time I used it. It loads the thumbnails much quicker and seems to scroll through images much faster and smoother. Color Banding (Doesn't bother me much at all) Locking and unlocking speeds are MUCH better (But there is still a pause after locking during which you can't unlock right away again)
Forgot to mention originally, I'm noticing no general keyboard lag.
Also, and I never noticed this before, but I can't move the cursor when typing url's in the browser.
Now for the stats!
I timed a few startups, and watch my memory all the time with Meterberry. Here are the stats I have recorded.
On .122
Free Memory: 51.1 MB
Start Time: 2:04
On .132
Free Memory: 51.9 MB
Start Time: 1:55
I did three battery pulls just to be sure, and the memory did not change, and all three start up times ranged between 1:54 and 1:57. That is awesome!
Applications:
FaceCall
Google Maps
Google Sync
Google Talk
MeterBerry
Pandora
Quicklaunch
Twitterberry
VyMail
My verdict: So far this seems like a little step above .122. There are no big changes I see, but they're definitely moving in the right direction, and I'm very happy with how it is running so far. While it isn't revolutionary, I'll take these little upgrades with them getting consistently better each time as opposed to having to wait forever for one big leap.
Not true, I just had .75 on my phone in the process of going to .132; and I checked. It looks exactly the same. The only thing different is the gradient on the icon tiles and selection bar.
I'm sure a MILLION people have posted this already but that's color banding. When the gradient is not smooth you see "color bands".
been running .132 (shrinked) for about 2 hours now, been noticing allot of 1X when I should be seeing 1XEV. Even ran *228 and *22899 but get 1X and 1XEV bouncing around...
*22899
What options are 99? I've used 1, 2 & 3 but am not aware of 99. Do tell.
Well its been 5 hours since the upgrade to new OS from 122 not many differences:
Boot Up seems longer
Scrolling not as well either
Memory Leak about the same
With .132, now after a battery pull if you have a password on your phone the screen does not respond to clicks to unlock, you have to press the Lock button.
Memory has dropped 11.5MB just sitting here (1 hour) while I read posts (no GPS style apps, only thing close is BBWeather which does not use GPS).
