Yeah I was joking even with headers, intake, exhaust, 3.73 gears, plugs & wires, upgraded drive shaft I would be lucky to hit 220hp lol.

I just had the app configured poorly so my numbers were way off. I even had a pull where it said 35hp =)

Gots it...YES! Now I just have to get the stupid gaskets at my headers replaced and then I'll be more excited about pushing things. Bad enough I put my baby on the dyno with a header leak already! Or maybe I'll just run it anyway...lol!

I wonder how many downloads this got today?
Ouch I wouldn't run it too hard with your headers leaking. That could really heat up your valves and could end up warping them. If it's just a small leak though then you should be fine.

I ended up with 640hp in my turboed sentra. Ran a 10.94 @204mph hahahahahah

The 1/8th mile seemed pretty accurate though. [email protected] Mph was off but I think 7.6 might be close to what I'll do. Said 2.2 60' also which could be close. FWD turbo FAIL!

Car dynoed probably 260-290whp Dynoed 290 with bad wastegate hitting and hold 20lbs, at 16 now.

I just got 700whp on a v6 mustang. Man it must be that CAI I put in it lmao.

I have no clue how to work the app, there needs to be like a tutorial. I configured it and everything, out in the weight / powertrain loss and everything. I'm not sure what to keep the sensitivity on though, but it's way off for me.
yeah it took me a while to figure it out today too on my 06 GT. First I was holding it in my hand and said i was going 140 mph when I was at 60. Then I set it on my lap and ran it at a stop light and it was really accurate with the speed and all. Gonna go find a straight away in the desert when finals are done to see what this thing can really do.

Yeah I'm going to create a mount for the phone. I love working with fiberglass, plastic, wood...anything that you can build something with lol. I'm going to create a holster in the center counsel to house the phone. I think mounting it plays a big part in the numbers as the app gets all it's info from how much it's moving around.

Yeah, I'll wait. When I had it on the dyno it was just a small leak, but now it's pretty bad. Will hopefully get it all fixed up next week. For now I guess I could get my bicycle out and test it on that? LOL!

I can't even find a road where its empty and deserted enough for me to test it. I'm not tryin to use it with other cars on the road or in populated suburban/urban areas.

Sucks that rural roads are way the eff out there for me.

Hmmmm, I just did a run with my 07 Honda Element EX AWD. Injen CAI, Catback and 18" SC wheels. I applied RAAMat to all the door and rear quarter panels, tailgate, floor, and roof. With my weight, the weight of the soundproofing, and 18" wheels compared to the stock 16 I estimated my car to be about 4000lbs in all.

My results? Only had enough empty backroad to get to 70MPH.

0-60 9.02 seconds with 151 HP. That doesn't sound right at all. Stock my car is 166 HP at the crank. So only 15 HP drivetrain loss? No way a CAI and Catback can add that much HP. But,then again Motorweek timed the AWD version of my car at 9.3 seconds 0-60.

That might not be that far off assuming with your mods you got 15 hp @ the crank then your drivetrain loss is around 17%.

Well i took the car last night and did 2 runs (with 0% drivetrain loss), first one was pretty crappy so i won't even post it, 2nd was not so crappy but still needs improvement...
I guess once i get the hang of it and find a better mounting location, the numbers should start to look more realistic. Here is a run from a guy with the same car as mine on an actual drag strip, he has a couple of mods, ECIS Intake, ebay headers, and a ssk shifter?

    His first run:
    60' 2.224
    330 6.170
    1/8 9.371
    MPH 76.91
    1000 12.112
    1/4 14.396
    MPH 99.88

    His 2nd run:
    60' 1.970
    330 5.797
    1/8 8.968
    MPH 77.50
    1000 11.695
    1/4 13.974
    MPH 100.33

I will need to run this again and see if my #'s give me a better outcome.

Here is my quick run with DynoStorm:
    60' 2.21
    330 6.29
    1/8 9.70
    MPH 73.5
    1000 12.72
    1/4 15.18
    MPH 90.1
    Peak HP 210

    Specs for the ZHP:
    03 BMW 330i 6sp
    235hp
    222lb-ft
    3285lbs

note: I let off the gas before realizing that i was not done running the 1/4mile, the phone beeped after i had let off.. =/
    boohoo..

    Quick question:

Does the dynostorm actually measure the distance for 1/8 and 1/4 mile and will just say TEST COMPLETE after you pass 1/4 mile?

Or, do you have to basically mark off 1/4 mile and it completes the test once you start braking?

The program supposedly uses a combination of GPS/cell tower positioning to measure the distance of 1/8 and 1/4 mile. I just bought it earlier tonight so I haven't really fooled around with it much.

    Edit:

I'm not 100% sure about that answer, especially since I just achieved 1219 peak HP sitting in my recliner. The website claims that it uses what i said above.

Has anybody tested the accuracy of DynoStorm?

I'm gonna try this out with my brother's truck tomorrow hopefully, he has a programmer that shows peak HP and all of that stuff. I'm curious to see how accurate this program actually is.
