What calculate the rwhp with dynostorm then use simple math to calculate the difference in rwhp and advertised crank power?

Are you saying this mean's it's 0? I don't understand how a car can have 0% drivetrain loss, everything i was reading was stating stock will be around 15-25% for my 07 mustang gt

Just downloaded this to my phone. Too bad I'm at work now. I have a heavy 2007 Honda Element AWD EX with 18" SC wheels and an injen CAI and Catback. Also RAAMat on all panels and roof and a Thule roofrack. I'm itching to try this out.

Guessing 4000 lbs. Including me and a full tank... All that with a puny 4 cyl 2.4L engine.

If you enter 0, DynoStorm will calculate the hp at the wheels. The drivetrain loss allows the app to extrapolate the crank hp from the derived whp. I think (99% sure) Anyway who cares what the engine has? (probably lots of people) Whp is the force that moves the car.

Unfortunately my 2005 Volvo S40 T5 isn't stock so I am also having trouble finding the drivetrain loss. I have found everything from 12% to 17% so I really don't know. It is manual so maybe I will just go with a lower number.

Also I am trying to compare my car to my friends Audi A4 so maybe I will just keep both at 0% so I can get a good HP at Wheels number.

It would be cool if someone who has dyno'd there car on an actual dyno to post comparisions to see how accurate it really is.

I just got 700whp on a v6 mustang. Man it must be that CAI I put in it lmao.

I have no clue how to work the app, there needs to be like a tutorial. I configured it and everything, out in the weight / powertrain loss and everything. I'm not sure what to keep the sensitivity on though, but it's way off for me.

Hmm, there is a manual on the DynoStorm site... DynoStorm but I didn't actually read the whole thing so I'm not sure if it'll help or if you've read it already.

I still have no been able to try it out yet though.

Gots it...YES! Now I just have to get the stupid gaskets at my headers replaced and then I'll be more excited about pushing things. Bad enough I put my baby on the dyno with a header leak already! Or maybe I'll just run it anyway...lol!

I wonder how many downloads this got today?
