I'm loving the new Storm, just got it last week.

However when I put the phone to the side, I have "locked" and then it dims out after a few seconds. No worries, right?

Well...every 2 minutes or so, the screen comes to life for about 5 seconds, and then fades out again. I keep thinking I'm getting a message or something, but there's no reason it should come to life like that and then fade away.

It wouldn't be a problem except this will unnecessarily eat up my battery.

Any advice?

you dont have youtube app open do you?

make sure you close all your apps by clicking options --> close

otherwise its continuing to run and possibly refreshing or updating

I bet it's the You Tube App. Battery is recharging now, cannot change any thing for along Charging.

Another thing, when you hold the BB buton & several icons show up, does that mean that all of these applications are open & running? or is this just whats available to jump to.

Yeah, if you hit the BB button click switch apps, it shows you the ones running. If one happens to be youtube, close it. I always make sure to close it properly after I use youtube.
