The Storm is being launched on Dec 25th 2008 and will be delivered by a large man in a Red Suit who will come down the chimney of lucky customers and potential customer to deliver the gift the retail cost will be $0.00 since labor cost in the North Pole is relatively non-existent and materials just magically appear in our outsourced warehouse.

I think RIM would let hype build up longer than a little under two weeks. You would think a months notice would be in order. I have no doubt they know the release date but its just a matter of getting enough made and get them to stores with all the displays that come with them. I would expect if its a November launch we will know the date early October.
