I am running .122 for Bell on my Verizon Storm. My problem is with the radio (signal strength). I go from full signal to none and back and forth all day. Missing calls and unable to complete calls.
Which release is the most stable?

    I would suggest trying .132

I have not had great luck with .141

I have heard .109 is good, but I can't remember the last time I ran it. I think I had success with .113 also.

It also can vary from device to device. Some people have had great success with .141.

109 and 113 are known to be the best and most stable. Ive also heard 132 is pretty good but alot of issues with 141. But as stated before it depends per person. Some have had great luck with 141 but as for me, 141 has been horrible.

    At least your consistent.

I guess I am going to have to downgrade to get the best signal. That stinks....

.113 seems to work the best for me. .109 was good IRT to signal strength, but I had a consistent echo during phone calls. .141 was the worst. Lyricidal's Swap-A-Radio is a fabulous little tool to fix the issue in a hurry.

With .141 I will see my antenna bars indicator drops out every once in awhile (and the reported signal strength drops maybe 7 dB momentarily) but I don't believe I am actually losing a signal because the .141 radio is by far and away the best radio I have had and it's not even close.

With every other OS I have used I have not had very consistent success downloading large video files such as Poynt movie trailers or youtube videos. With the .141 radio I have only had one fail ever, it succeeds every time and is very fast. I have done maybe 20 videos and the fail I think happened when I was downloading two at the same time. (I am pretty sure I have even seen the antenna bars drop out completely during a download and the download still works fine.)

So if anyone dropped the .141 radio because they saw the signal drop drastically temporarily I say don't believe it unless you're actually experiencing problems. I believe it is probably just showing that while doing some kind of updated signaling with the network or something (maybe it's doing a hand off?).

    I have tried .75 , .109, .114 , .113 , .122 , .132 , .141 straight and in various hybrids.

I have had the same issues with the signal strength bouncing between full and none. I have tried the .122, .132 and .141 builds and it seems that .132 was the most stable for me though I say because I get less of the quotes below with that build. One of the issues that I have that doesn't seem to be common is the I can always hear the person that I call but when the signal strength drops to 0-1 bars they cannot hear me. Very annoying when they are saying "Are you there" over and over.

    i am glad i wasn't the only one !

but it would do it for me with 2 or 3 bars, the only time it wouldn't was if i was right next to a tower and had full bars...

It is doing the same for me and I have business calls forwarded to phone that I can't miss. I can have a BB Curve on vzw sitting side by side and it has full signal while my storm signal is up and down, also getting voice mails when the phone never did ring...

soo.. im running .109 right now. I feel like it has a lot of battery drain and wanna upgrade. should i go .132 or the .141?
Most people will say .132. I think. It depends on who's on line at the time you ask.

Me personally, I don't see a dimes worth of difference between the two. I say do either .122 or lyricidals .141/5.0 hybrid which happens to have the .132 radio.

i think radio 109 is far the best for keyboard and battery life ... also signal... only thing i'm not sure about is signal since i see more bar but could it be just the device showing me more bar but not really a better signal

I installed lyricidals .141/5.0 hybrid and the OS has been very stable (No Battery Pulls for over 131 Hrs with 20 apps and about 25mb free memory). I still have problems with the signal bars jumping around and when I answer the phone sometimes the other end cannot hear me.
I tried the swap a radio but I am unsure that it worked. How do I tell if the radio changed out? My platform says 4.0.0.162

I think .132 was the best radio, but I am still rocking .90 for the full color effect.
    My mix is BBCrackman's v5.1 w/.90 radio........STELLAR
