I keep the Storm in a belt clip. When I get notified of a new email or text message and remove it from my belt clip the message is on the screen. Can I set a default that does not open a message when phone is removed from holster?

If you immediately take it out of the holster upon receiving a message, the phone will display the opened message. It is supposed to do this.

To avoid this, just wait a few seconds before you pull the phone out of the holster... then it won't open the message.

There is a magnet in the holster that puts the phone into lock/sleep mode... when you pull the phone away from the battery, it recognizes that it's not in the holster anymore. It's all about the magnet!
