Hey everyone first time poster here. I have a Storm 9530 for Verizon and I'm not receiving my emails to the phone anymore. The same thing happened with my Pearl 8130! I have had the phone for 3 weeks now and am running .75. For the first two weeks I got all my emails just fine and then they just stopped coming. It's a personal yahoo email that I'm using and its the only email account I have setup on my phone. What causes this? cause like I said the same thing happened on my Pearl? I'd appreciate anyone's help on this issue. Thanks in advance.
Negative go to options adv options host routing table bb menu key register now. May not work so log in to bis and make sure your email has been validated
Also what ever you did to your pearl to make it work same applies to 9530 BB is a BB
Hey yeah I should've mentioned that i tried all those suggestions already which is why I'm here! I never fixed my Pearl I just upgraded to the Storm. I did the following to try to fix it before I even posted my question. . .battery pull(several times), sent service books(also several times), and regestered through host routing. Still nothing

You need to call your carrier. If you didn't create a userid and password on the old device to be able to use it on the BIS portal website, it'll be impossible for you to port that account over to the new PIN/ESN of the Storm. Not only that, but you really need to check and make sure your account is in good standing and properly provisioned for Blackberry Service. Doesn't matter if it was before, call and check... don't be reluctant to do so. Make sure you speak to a Blackberry support person and not the regular CSRs.

yeah i had the same problem when i called in to downgrade my internet plan because they had me on the 44.95 plan, which i did not need. apparently the switch from that to the regular 29.99 plan caused a problem and i got transfered to a BB specialist and it was taken care of in a few minutes.
When switching devices, you may have to verify your email account(s) in the BIS website. When done properly, you should receive a PIN message from the Blackberry servers confirming your verified email account(s).
