I keep gettin "insufficient memory" notification but my device is showing me that i have 22MB free. What gives?
just do a battery pull. in fact use the dm, doing a ota will take you twice as long to upgrade your storm. and back-up your data.

Faster, better, did I mention faster? I could NEVER get any other beta to load...now .148 is loaded, supported, and my phone is actually approaching iPhone goodness. I'm quite pleased.
    Yay for smart, observant people!

The accelometer is faster and it doesn't put itself into landscape mode every time you set it down. My app memory was always around 45 mb and now around 47 mb, so not a big difference there, but every little bit helps. Radio is not any better nor is voice quality. Still sounds somewhat muffled. I don't notice any speed improvement with the browser.

My browser is easily twice as fast...easily. Resolution seems better, all, responses to key presses faster...little key lag.

But then again, I was at .75.

Starting it is quicker, but loading pages is just as slow. I was on .75 prior and do not see any difference loading pages. Of course that has to do with the radio and my signal strength has not improved at all with this upgrade. So yes, starting browser quicker, actually using it, no.

that could be because i wasnt having any real problems with .148 though
I didn't know they made the storm for braille users.

So not true. I have done side by side tests. If your not already go to WAP sites. You will notice a massive speed difference.

I went down to .75 Friday and updated OTA for the heckuvit. The difference is huge if you have any powers of observation on a basic level.

no prob; if your ots does not work out. just redo your upgrade and fallow this sticky. It will save you from a lot of hassles.

    NO! As has been mentioned countless times. 148 = 148 = 148 = 148

honestly the differences are minimal at best and not worth all the hype. With that being said, before the update I loved my storm and I do so after as well. Just not seeing what the big deal was, thats all.

then you do not really use your Storm very much, if you do NOT notice a difference...

Perhaps those who don't notice a difference between .148 and .75 think that OS's should change appearance as they do with Microsoft OS's (Xp to Vista)

In this case, I suggest you all look into themes.

    .148 : .75 :: Lexus : Kia

I could honestly count to "one-thousand 3" before my screen switched with .75...

If you had the choice between a 2001 GSXR600 and a 2002 GSXR600... why would you pick the 2001 over the 2002?
Why Would Anyone want to ride a 2001 or 2002 Gsxr600.........?
