    to enable mass storage go to options > memory > enable mass storage mode support > then your good to go and it will allow you to drag and drop from comp to handheld.

    When you enable mass storage mode on your storm, it will do nothing until it is plugged into a computer via the usb cable. Once connected you will get two drives labeled blackberry1 (this is the device memory) and blackberry2 (this is the media card memory). You can then use them like any other portable device by dragging and dropping pictures, videos, music, documents, etc into their corresponding folder. After disconnecting from the usb cable these files should show on your storm. I said and underlined should because there are some users on these boards that had problems using this method.

    Allows you to access your media card through your BB when connected via cable to computer. Drag and drop like windows explorer. So you dont have to use a media card reader.
