I use storm in AT&T. I tried more than ten times to upgrade the OS, including .103 and .109. But I can't get solid EDGE connection after the upgrade. So I still have to use .75 now. Any comments are appreciated. Thanks.

There seems to be an issue using any upgrade after .90. So what I have done is use the radio from .90 and the rest of the upgrade from .109. Has been rock solid for me so far as I too am victim of the EDGE/edge bug on other OS releases.

Yea most Tmobile and AT&T users who upgrade use what TWISM said. I use it too. Works great and I'm always on EDGE

Well, I wouldnt expect it to works 100% correct since its not on the carrier it was meant to be on.

though that is true, it would also be a problem if one were roaming in europe with this phone which is something many people do and they would have an edge vs EDGE issue there too! or maybe 3g vs 3G

Yeah. Use radio code from .90. But prepare for VSOD, camera issues and random reboots.

.109 does have some EDGE problems, but you can always do things to change that. Hybrid OS might change that problem.

I'm running .109 with no modifications and it has been solid with EDGE connections. Sometomes certain apps will cause me to drop to edge but otherwise I'm holding EDGE 98% of the time. Best of all no random reboots or Vsods. If I do have edge/EDGE issues I can turn off mu connections in manage connections and then turn them back on where with any other OS I'd have to do a reboot which usually landed me with a Vsod 4 out 5 times. I'm extremely happy with .109!

Same thing on T-mobile. No solid EDGE on .109. Had to downgrade to .75. EDGE works great on .75.
