My icon shows a new SMS on the home screen yet when I click on it to view it all I get is a black screen with the text phone number down the right side and the keyboard in the portrait view.

What do I need to do to fix this........all was fine till I upgraded to the new OS.........Storm 9530 and using the Precision Zen default theme.

first thing I would suggest to do it to try a batt pull.

I have done a couple of battery pulls (removing the battery) and nothing still.........

If you are on a BES it may be that IT has to "unlock" the sms feature for you. I know ours is that way and every time I upgrade to a new OS I have to contact them to get my sms back. Just a thought!

Nope I am on BIS.................thanks for the help and suggestions.......hopefully I can make it work again...........
