Nice Feature to be added to Today Themes?

Hey guys, I appreciate you all who are developers who are making these themes + apps. However, I would love ability to move around what happens on the home screen, and also to change the background image.

I DO REALIZE THIS IS THE 3RD PARTY APPS THREAD!

Statuses:
For instance, i do not use calender, like not at all. Birthdays and whatnot, but nothing on a day to day basis. Would it be possible to make an app or add-on to a theme, which would allow you to delete and add items to the home screen? Maybe swiping to the right/left on an item like 'calender' to delete it, and three Fingers + a click (not sure what the screen/OS can take) to bring up a window to add items. Or just dismiss this and make an app. The app could put menu button items into the menu that would let it be added.

Home Screen:
Scrolling, anyone? I would like my two rows, and the ability to scroll through my today screen updates.

Also, I havent checked if you can or not, but another cool feature would be the ability to change the background images.

I know little on how themes work, so don't bash. Nor do I know exactly how the Theme and the OS rely on each other. These are just raw, and pure IDEAS.
