I'm in Indonesia and got my storm in Indonesia...

It will work as long as your Storm is GSM (9500). Download to your desktop, run it, delete the vendor.xml file (go to program files->common files-> reaseach in motion->apploader->vendor.xml. Use your DM to upload to the 9500 and you are set.

Just done the 'official' download overiding the leaked version and it's working like a dream. Fixed the lock issue, browser working quicker and generally working overall much slicker. Still on 100% battery after an hour and a half, even though I've been playing about with it non stop, and memory sticking around 46.6. So far so good!

Sorry but nope, that is what I thought. However the VF release has an extra 10meg of crap and numerous files added and altered. It was only digitally signed 2 days ago, whereeas the leak was digi signed about 2-3 weeks ago.

Hi Guys,

I did download it from the Vodafone UK site yesterday. Took 5 or 6 attempts but it finally downloaded and installed ok. It is working now.
