its possible, I downgraded again to 320 and im back in business....i didnt really have issues with 320, so i'm sticking with it.... maybe i was one of the lucky few who had a good phone to begin with
Well, I put 517 on (from 607).
I used BBSAK, did a complete wipe, and installed 517.
Yes, it runs a TON better than 607 (I got my media player back, too!)
But the battery life......OMG....
It is still a little early to judge, but I went through two fully-charged batteries in a matter of eight hours (yes, Wi-Fi and GPS were turned off and no battery zapping apps were running.)
Hopefully it was just a fluke, although I'm not so sure.
We'll see. I'm just happy everything is at least functioning on the phone.
I downloaded the .517 and then executed it on my laptop. When I tried installing from Desk Top Manager and Application Loader it tells me there is no available software to install. I red once I must delete the "vendor.xml" file is that what is preventing the new install?
Delete the vendor.xml file and then load it to your BB by executing the "loader" file, not thru Desktop Manager.
That's my advice.
