I've been through 4 storms. 2 were new and 2 were refurbished and the refurbished ones were the best.

I've never had good experiences with refurbished ones.

    Just my opinion...

I've been through 2 new ones. (1 lost and 1 had a camera malfunction) right now I have a refurbished one and so far so good. Only had it for about 3 days. . The click on the refurbished model seems real good. Sbd everything else is great with .148.

mine is a refurb and works better than new ones. just depends on where its from and the QC that they're doing when it was manufactured, etc.

Although I am still on my original Storm. I have found through experience that refurbished phones are as good as if not better than new.

My refurbished Storms have been way better by far than my new ones. I have had one bad refurb, so its more of a luck of the draw thing, IMO.

I'm also on a refurb, other than the screen click being hard to press, all was good. I fixed the screen click with a T6 torx and got it just the way I like it.

well since my "menu" key stopped working i've been thinking of either going through the insurance and spending $50 for a replacement or spending $80 to get the key fixed.
i never had any problems with my storm before this and it has been my first one too.
so im thinking what's $30 bucks more, right?!

I would think that would be a warranty issue. Shouldn't cost you anything.
