Can anyone tell me why in my Desktop Manager the Media Manager is blacked out? I can't click on the start button to transfer my pics and music to my new storm.
Media manager is not installed by default, you can use the other 2 programs to transfer music, OR you can just copy the music directly on to your Storm by setting it for Mass Storage Mode.
If you're asking this question, then mass storage mode is the way to go. As pkcable said, there are other programs, but you probably want to keep it simple right now while you're learning
I had the same problem when i first downloaded my desktop manager. I actually called in to verizon and they put me through to a blackberry representative over at RIM and he walked me through the reinstall process to get the media manager functioning properly. The guy was very knowledgeable and walked me through it in about 15-30 mins. Hope that helps good luck.
