I just bought the storm 9530 and its an ok phone but the transitions r horrid I'm running the .45 os and I'm a total newbie to all this. Its an unlocked phone and I'm using verizon. Anyone want to give me some tips on which os to go to if any

Read the first 3 threads in the Storm Forums! It is a wealth of information. The Storm is a great device and even better when you upgrade your OS to .132 or .141/5.0 hybrid.

There is something called "bricking" your phone, but there is software out there that will revive a bricked phone. And according to the OS threads it wont happen if you do everything correctly.

I haven't upgraded from the Verizon "official" OS of 47.0.75, I would say IF you are running OS .45 I would at the VERY least go to .75.

I have read through some of the upgrade threads, and there seem to be some good step-by-step guides available for most of the OS's, and good help for "bricked" phones as well.
