New Application for the Storm: SwitchDisplayON

Hello Storm-Users!
Here is a simple but efficient new Application for the Storm: SwitchDisplayON!

It switches on the backlight of the screen when a SMS or eMail is received.

It is availible through the CrackBerry Software Store here.

from what I read it only lights up on the Storm when a SMS comes in .. has this been fixed ?? updated? will buy the program if so as BBlight some how disabled my sound (prolly cause of BBalerts)

I purchased the app a while ago, it lights up for SMS for me, no email... Which isn't a huge deal I guess, I don't use the BB much for email anyway.

Id rather save the 4 bucks.

ok, but you dont have to say it:confused::confused::confused: why does people have to be like this.. please crackberry give us a "bad reputation" link .. I'd like to beta test it first..:)

Um BBLight does the same exact thing with more options and it actually works for e-mail too. Oh, and it's free.

I have a question. I use BBLight, which is a free app that does the same thing as SwitchDisplayOn. Are there any added benefits to purchasing this app? I'd be curious to find out since I use BBLight when I'm at work.
