ive been playing around on my s2,went into manage connections and seen network technology. and i see three options gms/1xev/global
what`s the diffrence of the three?
not sure what one to use. this is my first bb

GSM is the technology ATT and T-mobile use. You only use this if you have a unlocked storm and you're using a sim card (What Im doing ;])

1XEV is the technology Verizon is using. You should be using this one.

Global is everywhere else.

Essentially choose the type of network your carrier uses. But remember that the global will always work for any carrier but it drains the battery quickly.
