ok so i tried OTA upgrade but it didn't let me because it says "not enough available memory to store downloaded files. Delete 22 MB of personal data from device memory and then resume download."
What kind of data would that be? Like my contacts?
Or would it be less of a hassle to just do a DM upgrade?

how many 3rd party apps do you have installed. That will be where you have to get more memory from.

I'm also trying to resolve this. When I go to clear the cache it only has 35KB.
That's not likely to be much help, right?

Do it still. You need a clear browser cache so that you bb can back up your settings.

By the way did you back up all you data such as 3rd party apps?

If you did not, fallow the sticky on my sig.

Thanks, it doesn't look like much help for someone with a Mac.
I haven't bought any apps anyway. Just a few free ones I can re-DL if necessary.
Do I need to delete stuff that isn't running?

No memory clearing needed if doing the update through DM.

OK, I found the directions to do Memory Cleaning, and to clear the log.
I did another battery pull restart.
It said Free Space: 19.2 !!

It still gives me the same error.
