When i try to play a video on my phone it says "Cannot play media while mms is running.

So i went to my "sms and mms" folder, and there wasnt any mms messages open.

I tried a battery pull and it worked for about 5 minutes. then it did it again

    Any answers?

Are you watching a video sent through mms? And is it in mp4 format?

    Which OS are you running?

I've heard that is an issue on the lower software loads.

    Yes it's an mp4 format

I was watching a video through mms. but then i quit watching it.

Then i tried to watch it again, and it said "Cannot play media while mms is active."

So i went to amy video folder and tried to play those and it said the same thing.

    I'm using the .141 hybrid

Battery pull seems like the answer here. It sounds like there is something using the resources for your media player and they're not being re-allocated properly.

A soft-reset through a battery pull should do it...
