So I had my Storm on my center consol of my car yesterday right above the full glass of water I had in my cup holder. Well the car in front of me almost caused an accident so I had to slam on my brakes which sent my Storm sliding off right into the glass. It took me about 4 or 5 seconds before I could get it out, at which point I immediately removed the battery cover and flung the battery out. I also put my finger over the water sticker which actually saved the sticker from any damage which was good but the whole thing was soaked. I instantly looked at the screen and sure enough it looked like an aquarium behind it. So even thou I was pissed I calmed down and decided to just try and let it dry out before I reinstalled the battery. I waited about 5 hours and then tried to start it back up but it wouldn't leave the little clock start up screen. I tried it again before bed and it actually reached the home screen and I could highlight the icons but it would not select anything when I clicked the screen. So I went to bed with the battery out. When i got up this morning I put the battery back in and the screen still had water behind it but once it booted up EVERY SINGLE function of the phone worked perfectly. Throughout the day the water behind the screen dried out and at this moment its like nothing ever happened to it. I just thought everyone out there that has some crap to talk about the hardware of this device should hear this story. WOO WHO.
