I've been a (largely) satisfied Blackberry Storm 9530 owner for nearly three months now. But, all of a sudden, it has started to become sluggish and unresponsive: the accelerometer has slowed down, there is often a long delay waiting for applications to turn on and off, and also a long delay waiting to be able to scroll through the main menu.
I've done the battery pull a couple of times. I am using the latest official OS, and I'm reluctant to install the unofficial OS updates, for fear that I might brick my phone.
Anyone else experiencing similar problems? Any practical advice on how to deal with it?
I've noticed the same thing happen to mine. The storm was working perfectly all of the sudden the accelerometer is slower, it takes significantly longer to lock and unlock the phone. I thought the App Memory was low so i checked and even on 40.1mb the storm is very sluggish. Help!
I've noticed the same thing. I'm on .76 but about a week ago it became real slow. I get the BB hourglass? for lack of a better term all the time now. I tried battery pull and cleared all my cache and deleted all my messages but same thing, changing screens or loading a web page I will get the hourglass. My app memory is about the same as it has always been just it's slower
