As for wiping info unless you had third party apps on it your only option is I'd you had password protection on your phone. I have my pearl set for three tries then wipe phone and sd card. Sorry for your loss.

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com

How do you set security options to wipe your sd card as well? I wasn't aware of this option...

The phone cannot be used again on Verizon Wireless CDMA network. However someone can potentional unlock the device for use on a GSM network such as Tmobile or ATT.

If someone stole my phone, truck, fourwheeler, whatever, I would want it to be completely useless to them whether insurance took care of it or not. Obviously, you've never had a damn thing stolen from you.
    +1

i'm not sure if your aware of this or not, but with a proper police subpoena, they can track anything with an ESN that's turned on

and this post is in no way an attempt to start a yes it does, no it doesn't war. just believe me, and it's as easy as ordering food at a drive-thru

So, how do I remotely drain the gas tank of my four wheeler again?

All i"m saying is, instead of wasting more time trying to figure out how to screw they guy who stole your phone (you've already reported it to the carrier and, I assume, the police), why not spend your time trying to figure out how to prevent it from happening again? The guy already stole your phone, don't let him steal your time and sanity too...

    k. thanks guys, I just called Verizon, they said that the ESN and IMEI number are put on a National list. I'm a bit worried that my name and home address are on the phone. From what I've heard and read, they can't do too much with that. I've also changed my email passwords and facebook as well.
