I am a new BB owner and I truely understand that I have a lot to learn and understand about the BlackBerry way, but I am also a big tech geek so I am pretty quick to understand. So far I love the Storm, its capable of so much more then I expected and I havent let go of it since I got it day after Christmas took it home played a bit with it and within an hour I was installing the .83 from .75 with hopes it would solve issues that I had already knew about before I got it, and it did solve most and now I am running .85 a bit better all around, but still have bugs, and I am surprised how many were not fixed with the update, but hopefully in the very near future they will have it all nailed, but anyhow enough spatter, here are my issues so far:
Sim Card Rejected - Get it all the time, even after Bat Pull
Cant change anything on home page, i.e. number of rows, wallpaper, soon as I do I get constant box pop up that says changes were made do you want to Save, Discard, or Cancel, so if i hit save it freezes no response to screen, so then I hit hard key and get white screen 523 error... if i hit either discard or cancel then I just keep getting the box pop up. Another Bat Pull.
Volume hard keys - they dont do anything, only thing I seen them do is change song while in music player....what about the volume?
Verizon Splash Screen bug - Phone would work fine all day then without warning stop responding to anything, try to turn it off and get splash screen and nothing else. Yet another Bat Pull.
Media Card Inserted - I get this when I turn phone on, dosent go away unless I turn to landscape, but when I go back to portrait its back as well. And again another Bat Pull.
Screen Click - Not really a big issue but can be annoying, just not consistant, one side takes more pressure then the other to activate function.
Again these are just my issues not complaints really cause I am sure the folks at RIM are working on them, otherwise I love my Storm and plan to keep it, it is by far the best phone I have owned....Feel free to post your issues, I am sure Im not the only one with them....Cheers to CrackBerry, love this place.
