just got off the phone with alltel and they said that RIM was having issues on their end. neither my ATT curve or Alltel 8830 or Verizon Storm have internet. sucks!
Going to get a credit on my account for this down time...I pay for unlimited service, and at this point I'm not receiving it I understand the phone has issues, but when the service provided (in this case not provided) is having issues, there is no excuse for it. Sure maybe its only a dollar or two, but I'm not one to let Verizon slide with anything (they dont so why should we).

sorry to all of us, but glad to hear it's not my storm.
and REC7IFY, I'ma call VZW and try to get a credit too.
guys, if you do the math, it comes out to .04032 cents per hour. Is that worth the amount of time your going to spend on the phone trying to get your refund?
I just feel that I've had to jump through massive hoops with Verizon and this phone (I've gone through 3 phones) and there sub par service (cellular/data and CS). Why should we accept there unscheduled downtime? I pay for this service and if I'm not receiving it, then i expect a credit of some sort for the downtime, plain and simple. Its nothing personal just buisness (thats what they would tell me if i were late with my bill while there shutting my phone off).

i agree with you, but it's just not worth $0.08 if its down for two hours...lol

Its not the dollar value, its the principle. I can't just not pay my bill, just like they shouldn't be allowed to get away with unscheduled downtime. Really don't care what there excuse is. They provide a service, and when that service is having issues and they cant provide it, we as consumers deserve a credit for the downtime. Its not me being a ****, its me making sure im getting what i pay for, and nothing less....
oh and when you do the math of .08 cents across the broader spectrum (lets say 2.5+million BB users) .08 cents adds up to some serious dollars!
