Home button? Red button maybe?
BTW...nice name. Let's see how long that one lasts.

I'm not sure what home button you're talking about is either, but in my experiences with refurbed BB's, a lot of them are better than the brand new ones. You shouldn't be turned off by the term "refurbished" ... at least when you're talking about BB's.
savio you have a TON of phones
The refurbs aren't always that bad. You might luck out and get one that is much better than your current device.
In theory those refurbs are supposed to be run over with a fine tooth comb... In theory.
I think it is called "Certified Like New." Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy when I get my third one.
Thats funny.

Yeah yeah yeah. Like I've never heard that one before. :p
:D
Like Pre-Owned??
Op--what have you tried to fix it? reboot, diagnostic??
My phone did this too right after iloaded .148. Do me a favor hold the blackberry key and tell me if you see the "Phone" app running

It's pre-owned, but the phone is completely made brand new again. IIRC, the only thing that is used again on "Certified Like-New" phones is all the innards. Aesthetically, it'll be brand new.
Yea, there is nothing wrong with them, sometimes better. But I still like that new phone smell....
That is the claim, but I have received replacement devices with cosmetic defects. I think it can vary on the quality control.
I think the concern with the Storm is most of the issues for the .75 users are software related rather than physical so not much is done to refurb the phone causing a possible increase in devices with cosmetic defects.
Ahhhhhhhhh, the smell of... Well as Civic said: RIM can proceed with the normal use of the toilet paper.
Maybe he's confused about what kind of phone he really has?
But to answer the question, more than likely if a button isn't working then it's probably a break in the main board contacts (springy) and the ribbon cable that goes to the buttons or a problem with the buttons themselves.
it's the button between the green one and "back" button
i'm pretty sure it's the spring thing
