    So this is officially my fourth storm guys. I've been through two brand new, one referbished and this one is brand new out of a box hehe

    The first storm had bad clicking issues so I took that back within thirty days to the best buy mobile.

    then that one lasted up to about the beginning of this month and the send button stoprd working so I took it back to the Verizon and they got me a newly refurb

    So the refurb came with a defective lcd light but I was like whatever but then a lot of dust got under it within two weeks so I then again took that one back but the bad part is how I got handled this time.

    So I thought I woud get a refurbished phone in the mail like I did last time but the first tech agreed I should get a new phone so he pushed me to customer support but called me over a few mins later and have me to his coworker. She proceeded to get me a new storm box which left me shocked so I was like ok. However I had some stuff on my phone I didn't want anyone looking at so I asked for it back and proceeded to start a wipe. It started to clean when she asked for it back and I was like ok but its wiping and it says not to turn he battery off but what did she do she turned it off. No biggie not my phone anymore I said to myself. She proceeded to give me the new phone and I was like can I have my old memory card she said no...she said "all your data has been transferred over." I was like ok...so she asked me to make a test call. I went to make a call but as soon as i did that the phone crashed and started to reset. I was like omg I need to get going I've been here for the past hour. So I told her I'd leave and if had any problems I would take care of that. She was like ok. I left HUGE MISTAKE...all my pictures were gone! All my music WAS GONE!


    Well that's my story...

    I do have backups but it takes a **** load of time to reload it....

    Remember to take your memory card regardless of what they tell you.

    Would I get penalized for that storm arriving at the warehouse with a corrupt os?


    BTW .109 has very fast camera speeds!

    If they tell your your information was transfered over, you shouldve realized not the memory card stuff. Not Verizons fault but RIMS for making the devices "non clickable" and "dusty under the screen". For a 4th replacement being brand new. I wouldnt call that a bad experience through Verizons end?

    You wont get penalized for a corrupt OS. They wipe them anyway, and besides many people do a full wipe (not just the security wipe you did intentionally) that to their phones to make absolutely sure their data is completely gone.

    But I agree you should have removed the sd card before handing the phone over and then just removed it from the new phone, put yours in and handed her the new card out of the new phone. I really don't understand why she would not do that. The SIM card I understand as it is assigned to that phone but every microSD card is the same and there is no reason you cant swap them out unless there was reason to believe that it was part of the cause of the issues with the phone.

    next time your phone has problems just call customer care. They will ship one out to you in two days.

    Unless it needs immediate attention that is.

    And next time you put HQ porn on your storm remove the memory card before you give it to them

    i believe the phone crashed because .75 was loaded last time it was on. every storm i sell i take the battery out again after i wipe other languages. otherwise it acts buggy.
