So I was kinda gitting upset because my battery door was gitting so many scratches on it from work. (I work in a plant) Well I decided today that I had to do something so I searched around for a box of scotch bright pads and some alcohol wipes some bare metal sealer or a good waxing agent. as i was searching I actully found a scotch bright wheel! so I wiped of that battery door once removed and took off most of the black paint while holding the door with leather safety gloves. After the wheel I used scotch bright pad to finish. I was wowed!!!!! It was beautiful! so after I cleaned up my buddy comes over with some bare metal sealer and drill with a buffer attachment so I sealed and shined it to perfection! Im so impressed and scratch free!

Nice! Looks like the trim now! How did you keep from destroying the blackberry emblem though?

like said above it wouldn't come off? I don't know how its on there. I had that door on the wheel for at least 8-10 mins @ 150 rpms.

I did the same thing on my iPod's a few years ago, always got complements on how awesome and nonfingerprintymagnety it was.

It's not etched, it's a completely different piece. They just cut holes out from the backing, then welded the BB piece to the back so that it shows through the holes. Turn the backing over and you will see the circular piece at the top.

I don't know how you got the VZ logo to stay on there though.
