This would be a really great thread as soon as I get my Storm. I definitely will be getting the myspace app and the opera mini. Any worthwhile apps that I should get?

i am downloading myspace right now...

the best way to get google imho is to google it from a laptop or desk top and then send a text to your phone to d/l it.

Can anyone recommend a weatherbug app. I had one installed on my BB curve and forgot to write down what it was called but it did place an icon on the screen. BTW weatherbug download fails all the time... Also on side note is anyone been able to install apps and have it show on the home screen? Thanks.

Hit me with a message at my PIN 304ABB5F

    Thanks

The weatherbug download worked perfectly on my storm. However, if you put in your information then try to move it to the home screen, it DOES NOT WORK. You need to download it, and then go into your downloads folder. Highlight it, hit the BB button, hit move folder, and move it to 'home.' Then you can move it around freely and make it in your first 4 or 8 rows. Then you need to set up your zip code and such.

Just google 'weatherbug.blackberry.com on your storm, and navigate through that.

I second GPSed. It's great for those long hikes when people at home are worried.

Plus, it's cool to map out how far you walk any given day.

when u use aim...if you stay logged in, does it eat battery? or is it just a push service that is fine to leave open all day in the background?

IM+ has a push service.. I'm not sure how the built in AIM or other IM services RIM created work. I tried using the RIM version of AIM... I could send messages, but nobody could reply to me. I stopped using it.

GET VIIGO! im a big fan.

Go to viigo.com from your Storm browser and you will get the page that says "For your BlackBerry Storm".
