I have noted the same problem with 90. It is much faster, most of the time, but the non-functional media player problem is a deal breaker for me. I'm going back to 0.85 this weekend and I will wait for the next official update from VZW. 0.85 was very stable for me.
I was listening to music (via the built-in speaker) last night for about 30 minutes. My phone crashed twice. I wasn't even pressing a button when it crashed.
..75 have this issue bad and I was wondering the same thing about .90. Also in .75 the sound goes way down when you recieve a message as if the audio boost doesn't work and the only way I can get the volume back up is to do a battery pull. I was just wondering if this issue had been resolved as well.
Had the same problem while working out at the gym was a real **** off when i found out that it crashed.. had to do a batt pull before doin my next set lol
ive noticed that after playing a couple of songs on mpeg format it does not restart, only had this problem with aac files. maybe if you can convert these files to mpeg restarts will stop
I am running .90 and haven't experienced this problem yet. I listened to music for about 2 hrs yesterday without this problem happening. But at one point there was a 5 second pause between two songs. Besides this happening, my media player has been stable.

yep i have this problem, although, it seems to get along fine playing out the internal speaker until i hit the unlock button, this almost always results in a freeze/reboot w/ .90... i have observed this issue in other builds however, not ALL builds.. I suspect a problem with Variable Bit Rate files, but cannot confirm because i've been lazy and havent spent much time converting files and trying my theory.
