Music Has to Upload Each Time a Restart Happens?

I placed about 950 songs from my music library onto my Blackberry Storm. Since I just eliminated the bunk MySpace application I downloaded I had to restart my phone.

Each time I Restart my phone (and get that white screen wit hthe little time clock on it) I have noticed that the songlist counter on my Music folder starts over again from 0 and builds up to the 950 songs. When this happens it slows my phone down significantly.

Is there anyway for me not to have to reload these songs after a restart? If not I will definitely remove a lot more songs, but wanted to check first to see if there was a way to keep them.

Anytime the media card is removed or inserted(or device reset) your media library is rescanned.
