I recently installed BBSAK and decided to look at the event log of my 9550. I have hundreds of events in the log and they're all pretty much the same. A sample of them is below:

    guid:0x19E57B17BE5FDC12 time: Tue Oct 12 17:30:16 2010 severity:4 type:2 app:net.rim.gme data:TXCd
    guid:0x389FE34834FB0EDF time: Tue Oct 12 17:30:16 2010 severity:4 type:2 app:net.rim.mdp data:TXst
    guid:0x389FE34834FB0EDF time: Tue Oct 12 17:30:18 2010 severity:4 type:2 app:net.rim.mdp data:RXst
    guid:0x389FE34834FB0EDF time: Tue Oct 12 17:30:18 2010 severity:4 type:2 app:net.rim.mdp data:RPda

Any idea what these events are and what I should do about them?

One of you apps is trying to invoke the event dispatcher before it invokes a Permissions request? Try Google'ing it there are numerous similar posts both here and on the official BlackBerry forums.

If it just started happening its probably whatever app you just installed.

    app net rim gme

    and

    app net rim mdp

Those are the modules that are throwing exceptions (which means generating the errors). Google sometimes chokes on colons and periods so if you separate the searchterms like I did above, you should be able to find several articles (from today all the way back to 2005) describing similar issues.

What it means is, the app is trying to schedule/handle an event (do something) before it actually has permission to do so. Its like telling Windows to delete the following files before you actually get a list of files to select which ones to delete

Again, if it just started happening, its likely that whatever the last thing you installed, didn't get its permissions set correctly before it tried to do something that requires permissions to do. You could probably uninstall it, reboot, and redownload it (and set its permissions) before you try to run it for the first time.

Hope that makes more sense. Good luck!
