1. Mugen is a racing car part manufacturing company that doesn't make battery for phones and bet you its not even japanese which the name and company originates. Whoever designed it is highly likely to use that company same as a sales pitch.
2. Did the OP say he bought a 3000mah battery door or the battery because he's saying he has a 2300mah battery. So was it advertised 3000mah but its really 2300mah.
The actual Mugen company doesn't false advertise nor make crappy products.

I work at a fairly large online accessories retailer these batteries are great if the device dosent reject it, but by far the doors are horrible and poorly made one way or the other you would be better carryng around an charged spare battery at least it would weigh less
I personally used Mugen batteries on 3 mobile devices and was always impressed with quality and usage time. They are based in Hong Kong and are making batteries for 30 years now, you can easily find reviews of their batteries on the net. Quality of back covers on batteries I used was also very good. As I see there is also a standard size battery for 9500 available on the link you've posted.

I purchased an advertised 2300 battery. To no surprise, the door is junk.
People still complain about Seidio doors.
I was just looking for another option. The thickness is not a problem.
Nice, but the price is a bit steep considering you can get a standard capacity battery for less than half the price of the Seidio. The 15% capacity increase may be worth it to some users though.
