A better question; is there a way to use the media card as ram memory. I would be nice to allocate some, much like "virtual memory" works on a PC.
Now that would make the Storm rock!

Aerize card reader only stores the installation files for apps on the memory card. There is no way as of yet to runs apps from the memory card.

What about these memory management programs? Do they make use of the media card?

The ability to run apps on the media card is not just a matter of someone building a program. RIM blocks any possibility of doing this for 'security' reasons, because someone could remove the media card and transfer the data. There is talk about RIM making some changes so that potentially we could use some of the internal 1GB memory for programs, but the future does not look very promising on that item. :-(
