Well I thought that .103 would have the fix the MMS issue some of us have. The one that will only show a black/blue or gray box instead of the actual image. May be next time. How about you guys?
i know that has been a problem for a long time. i use the capture it app and capture the picture i want to send and then use that one it works everytime.
I received MMSes fine with .99 but got a box for the image when forwarding an MMS, is this what you're referring to? After an Options wipe (not JL) & reinstall of .99 it worked properly. I'm running .103 now and tested sending & then forwarding to myself & no go, salmon colored box (as in .99 for me) was where the image should've been.
Life goes on...

Mine is about 50%. I got an MMS and it worked, sent it out and it went gray. Friend sent me 2 yesterday, 1 worked 1 did not. Got another last night that was 3 slides, 2 worked one did not. This happened on both .99 and 103.
I have the same issue on .103 and I think I may know what the bug might be. It's not an issue of forwarding, but I think it's an issue with the screen size of the pic you're trying to send.
I'm not sure of the limit the black box bug occurs, but noticed if friends send pics of 800x600 I get the black box when trying to forward. If they send say 176x220..no problems.
If I save the 800x600 pic to my sd card and try to attach it.. I still get the black blank box, but if i resize it to a lower resolution..no problems..

It can't be the size cause if you send the image via email to your self and then select to view it with out downloading your able to send that image via mms.

has to be something to do with it..maybe because it's not being stored. try it yourself. I created two pics that were over 340x280. Transferred via mass storage mode and it wouldn't show when trying to send via mms. Did the same thing at size 220 and it displayed with no problem.

You can do it but no in landscape mode. Try resending it in portrait mode.
