I never liked pocket mac, and so I ponied up the $40 for missing sync 1. I found it to be an OK way to sync w/ my mac. Nothing flashy. It did fine w/ my ical, contacts, and iphoto. I was able to easily transfer pics to my storm.
When I got the e-mail offer to upgrade to missingsync 2 for free, I checked it out. It looked like a more robust system, and had wireless syncing(ooh! ahh!). So I jumped. Well, I've jumped back to v 1.
First of all, wireless syncing was a bit of a pain. Whenever I got anywhere close to my desktop, my storm would desperately try to sync. Kind of like a horny teenager. Also, when I tried to transfer pics from my iphoto account, I kept getting error messages. I tried deleting/reinstalling. I saw that there was a v 2.0.1 (yesterday), so I installed that. Didn't help.
Has anybody here had a similiar experience w/ missingsync v2 not being able to transfer pictures?.
