Open up DM and hit install applications or start apps or something like that and install whats missing using DM.

DONE!

Check your applications folder - if not there - Do a Battery pull...

Do you see the option of even loading it using DM? You should I just did mine when I wiped mine and finished the install of .83 I reloaded all the missing apps using DM.

yes i see that....mine is acting really weird....it still shows in the apps list but it has no icon....i dont get it

Is it hidden? Press the menu key and press Show Hidden, otherwise resend service books from the VZW BIS Site https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw&locale=en

You should be able to use device manager to reinstall. Restart the pc and the phone and use the add app to reinstall.

I have done all that.....thats why it is weird......If it shows in my app list, I should have it....when i use DM it doesnt give me the option to install it because its in my app list......confused!!!

I am actually having the same problem... It seems as if it has not provisioned to the carrier. It reminds me of how the browser is unavailable until your BB registers on the network. The only problem with mine is that it is registered on the network...

I did a complete wipe with jl.....reinstalled .83 and still cant get bb maps

Did anyone get an answer, also did a wipe, put on .83 and reloaded backup, it registered but no BB maps and no folder for New Apps?

I had the same problem and it was because the maps app was hidden for some reason. Just go to the app folder and hit show all. That worked for me, hope it works for you.

I was unable to see the apps in the DM until I disconnected from the internet.
