How long is it taking you to open these messages? Is it always three hours?
The message list will show time received until you open it. Then it shows time opened. If you open the message and look at the time it will show time received inside it.

The time the email itself is stamped with is the time the message was actually recieved, like on a gmail server. The time that shows in the messaging app is the time the BB recieved it. I tether my storm and after I disconnect all my emails come through with both times.
I open them within seconds or minutes of receiving them.
I sent one just a few minutes ago:
"Delivered: Mar 27, 2009 7:05:19 PM"
"Sent: Mar 27, 2009 10:04:48PM"
then when I received the message that I replied to it says:
"Sent: Mar 27. 2009 7:04:24PM"
when the person sent it at 10.
I have noticed that sometimes I will get an email or text message later than original received and chalk it up to signal or if I am running an application. The delay goes, I have noticed, both ways in receiving the alert on my phone versus receiving it online.
No. Nobody had any ideas and not a single problem suggested anything and the tread just died.
It's a real pain in my *** since I wake up in the morning and I don't know when I recieved the message. I don't know if I should text back or if I should assume if they're asleep.
I have seen where a chain of messages from the same person can actually show different times with each message.
Sometimes I will receive a message that displays a time stamp of 10 minutes before i received it. Then, Ill receive another text message from my reply, and the time stamp will be before my sent message's time.
My phone had the right time but it was set to pacific timing. I guess whenever I received messages, it would display them in pacific times. I changed it to the right time zone and everything is correct now.
