Media, moving from desktop to Storm?

BB noob here so excuse my ignorance on things.

I installed the cds that came with the storm. I added pics by just transferring them to my 8gb card. I went to move wmv. movie files & it said format not recognized. (what is recognized?)

So I tried to use the BB user tools program. On the Desktop Manager there is the media option. After clicking it I get three options.
#1 Rhapsody/vcast
#2 Media
#3 Something else I forget

Anyway the #2 choice media is grayed out. I cant select it. Anyone know whats up with that?

What is the easiest way to move music, pics & vids to my BB?

Just go to Options > Media Card on your Storm and enable mass storage mode. Then you can browse to the media card from Explorer.
