i just recently got the storm switched from the Samsung Instinct, i am trying to use the media manager but when i open desktop manager and hit media, i try to hit start under media manager but it is greyed out and not clickable, any suggestions

Try to open it up without going into DM. Go to C:/Program Files/Roxio/Media Manager 9/MediaManager9.exe.

You didn't say why you were trying to use the Media Manager. IF you are trying to sync your iTUNES: fogitabout da DM for now. Go and get a separate instance of Media Sync !
