I keep showing that the media card is not present when i have it in my storm. Ive reinserted it multiple times and it shows its not in....anything else i should try?

I keep showing that the media card is not present when i have it in my storm. Ive reinserted it multiple times and it shows its not in....anything else i should try?
I had that problem with my first one. I would go to options and memory and would say no media card inserted....had to get a new phone...they tried a diff card with mine too and no luck.
