Contrary to what my storm depicts, I do not see how the total space and available space can both be 7.3GB. Battery pull and Quick pull performed. Thoughts?
Media is stored on the card and I understand that 8gb is not available. The point is that total and free should never equal each other when media is present. if so, I need to head back to school cause I may have missed a few years
One possible explanation: you're measuring free space to 0.1 GB resolution. It takes a LOT of anything to equal 100 MB. How much stuff do you have on the card?

I have about 15-20 pics, about 10 minutes in video and voice recording.

Look at the properties on each file. Add up the sizes. Is the total 100MB or greater? If not, you have your answer. The free space isn't reported with enough significant digits to show the amount you're using.

My Bold is doing the same thing, except it reads as both being 7.6GB. I plugged it into the computer and its shows I have 32.4MB of pix(all my ringtones are in device memory) we'll see if it updates after I break 100MB.
